In these small group sessions (max 7), we use the Reformer, Mat, Tower, Cadillac, and more to refine how you move — precisely, from your center, one exercise connecting to the next.
It's a process, not a trend. Do the work regularly, and you'll move better, feel stronger, and gain confidence in your body.

New clients begin here to learn authentic Classical Pilates safely and effectively (Mat with Reformer or Tower).
Available times: Mon 6:30 pm, Tue 9 am, Wed 6:30 pm, Wed 10 am, Thu 9 am, Sat 8:30 am. Expires 30 days from first session. These 5 classes unlock Foundational II levels (Classical I, Core & More, Classical Mat & Reformer, JP's Gym).
Unlimited Membership is available from day one—many clients choose it and continue right into the full experience.

I discovered Pilates in 2005 from an infomercial that featured actress/model Daisy Fuentes and Pilates guru Mari Winsor, they promised a stronger leaner body and toned abs. Little did I know those DVDs would someday change my life.
I struggled with my weight since I was a child. I had lost the same 80 pounds from 15 to my mid 30's. After the birth of my child, I just could not lose the weight. I made the life changing decision to undergo bariatric surgery. I committed myself to a new healthy lifestyle including regular exercise. I lost 127 pounds and exercise was a big part of how I planned to keep it off.
In 2017 I injured my back and could not workout. Determined to get back to my training schedule I went to doctor Google and what I found looked like Pilates.
I found those DVDs from 2005, within 2 weeks my low pack pain was greatly reduced and I was moving better than I had in years. Something else happened, I was hooked, I wanted to do Pilates all the time.
I was also evaluating what I wanted to do when I grow up, my career was unfulfilling, I wanted more. One day when I walked into the Pilates studio, there it was on the chalkboard Teacher Training. That was it, that was what I wanted to do! I signed up and at 47 started this journey.
Pilates is a full body workout that keeps me looking and feeling younger. I am a testament to what this work can do. It helps me maintain my weight loss, stay back pain free and keeps me looking and feeling younger than when I was in my 20's, 30's & 40's. I like to say may Pilates glow is better than Botox.

I teach classical Pilates. Classical Pilates is a method of exercise that follows the original teachings and principles of Joseph Pilates, the founder of the practice. The goal is to develop a balanced, strong, and flexible body, with an emphasis on proper breathing and mindful movement to enhance overall physical health and well-being.

Form fitting athletic wear is best. This helps me to see how your body is moving through the exercises. Grippy socks are required in the studio. Please do not wear clothing with zippers or buckles. Shoes are not permitted on the equipment.
Yoga focuses on holding static movements, breath and meditation. Pilates however is a full body workout that uses controlled movement to improve strength and flexibility, increase spine and core strength and improve posture and balance.
Everyone is different and this can depend on multiple factors such as current fitness level, your other activities, diet, and if you have any injuries. However most clients see improvement in their bodies in 10-15 sessions.
Absolutely! Pilates strengthens the core and and the muscles around the spine. It is perfect for people with low back pain.
Absolutely! Pilates is perfect for getting back into movement. At Classical Pilates Monroe, I offer private sessions tailored to your needs and small group classes to ease into it. The Classical I class is designed for beginners and will help you build strength and confidence at your own pace. You’ve got this!
Appointments are required. Payment is required at time of booking
24-hour Cancellation Notice: There is a 24-hour cancellation policy that applies to all sessions, private, duet, small group and mat class. If you do not cancel a minimum of 24 hours prior to your session you will be charged the full fee. If you have a package you will forfeit that class from your package. Unlimited Memberships $10 Late Cancel Fee, $25 No Show Fee. All cancellations must be made through the studio app or website we do not accept text messages or emails for cancellation.
Semi Private Sessions:
Both parties must be present. If one person needs to cancel other party has the option to cancel and reschedule or pay the difference for a private session. 24 hour cancellation policy applies.
Expiration of Packages:
Foundations Package & 6 Class Pack expire 30 days from first visit. Unlimited Membership requires 30 days notice to cancel. All packages / sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Session Time:
All sessions are 45-50 minutes in length with 5 minutes to spare for clean up, future scheduling and/or payment.
Injuries:
If you have undiagnosed chronic pain or injury and have not seen a medical professional, I would request you do so before your Pilates session.
